Where can you buy ELF products other than the internet:

I went to Krogers last night to be let down by the fact that they do not have ELF products there. However, I was astonished to see that they carried some Jesse's Girl products. They only had two colors left of their eye dusts in Mardi Gras (very bright vivid royal blue) and Majestic Green (medium shamrock shimmery green) which were only $3.99 each. I went ahead and picked those up to build up in my friend's gift. I ordered Jesse's Girl from their website and was very pleased with their eye dusts. I need to swatch those and put them up here later. I also picked up one of their eye shadow quads in the smokey eyes set. I unfortunately can not tell you if I like it because I do not own the product but considering their eye dusts have a nice pigmentation and consistency, I'm sure the eyeshadows are great. I also picked up one of their baked eyeshadows in volcanic. I swatched that one since I bought it for myself and it almost looks like the eyeshadow Swish by MAC. It's really nice, however, I plan on using it for my cheeks.

I walked down to Walgreens and they were having a sale. Nothing really caught my attention to buy for my friend. The Maybelline Dream Mouse Blushes were BOGO but I am on a budget. I ended up getting her a double ended blending brush which is similar to the MAC 224 brush except on the other end, it has a smaller blending brush which is excellent for crease work. Then they were having a 2fer on the CG Wetslicks, so I picked up the Raspberry Splash and the Lemon Splash. If you want a nice sheer shine to your lips and don't mind the sweet flavor or scent then these are really great. I see myself using this a lot in the summer. It reminds me much of my Tendertones by MAC. I plan on giving my friend the Lemon Splash one. Lastly, I have a complaint. L'oreal HIP line looks like it's heaven sent tp drug stores. I mean, wow, finally a drug store line that focuses on being highly pigmented and almost expensive quality but affordable. Sometimes I stand there and look at all the products on the HIP line and think "Why did they make that lipgloss that way?" or "Why am I paying $12 dollars for a teaspoon size amount of pigment?" It's almost frustrating to see that you're not really saving that much money when you buy HIP products and not all of their products are that great. I ended up buying a HIP paint so I'm hoping it will be worth it. They have a bunch of new products that I will later write about how pointless I think they are.

Anyway, hopefully I'll put up a picture of the gift basket I am putting together for my friend for her birthday.
